Especially if you are transporting a convertible with a canvas top, you do not want any oil or other fluids ruining the top of your vehicle. Another one of your options is the flatbed. This is used if you have a large car or if your car has been modified. The price you will pay depends on how many other things you will need transported with the car and how big the car actually is. If you are moving, for example, a vehicle with the suspension raised a substantial amount; it will not fit on a normal multi-car carrier. This will most likely either be loaded onto a flatbed or a lowboy trailer.
